I'm Elvin Johnson, owner of E.E. Johnson Enterprises Inc. I've been metal detecting since 1975 and am very experienced in the operation of most metal detector brands on the market.

I will be able to help you select the brand and model of metal detector most suited for you. I will not sell you a detector I do not think will be suitable for you. I currently carry the following name brands of detectors:

I started metal detecting about 1975 with the Garrett BFO detector and found a lot of coins and rings with it. My next detector was a White's 6DBH, it was difficult to learn, but once you mastered it, the machine was a top-notch detector. My coin count and ring collection sky-rocketed. I became a White's metal detector dealer and soon advanced to a multi-line detector dealer. I carried White's, Garrett, Fisher, and A.H. Pro detectors. Career changes are inevitable, so I put my small detector business on hold and pursued my passion in the retail field. Jumping forward to present time, my wife and I have recently retired so we have lots of time to look after you and to chat about treasure hunting.

I currently use a Whites MXT and a Minelab Explorer SE. My wife Dona uses a Minelab X-terra 70 for gold prospecting and coin shooting.
