on the versatility of the range, the X-Terra 705 can also be
used for gold prospecting by using its Prospecting Mode. The
specialised mode has improved Sensitivity and adjustable Iron
Mask Discrimination. It is the ideal mode when searching for
gold nuggets but also small relics, and some types of jewellery.
In this mode the detector becomes more sensitive to small target
signals. Prospecting Mode can be used in highly mineralised,
'difficult' areas. The high frequency DD coils offer advantages,
as they are adept at handling these conditions |
